Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers\u2019 needs. Requires a bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent certifications in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.<\/p>\n<p>Familiar with a variety of the field\u2019s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity, leadership, and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit\/department.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Field Engineer responsibilities are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Has a thorough understanding of and practices techniques to prevent ESD damage to components.<\/li>\n<li>Perform remedial repair activities on customer site.<\/li>\n<li>Perform hardware installations.<\/li>\n<li>Perform assignments as directed by Response Center Technicians or senior technical staff.<\/li>\n<li>Require infrequent backline support while performing remedial activities on-site.<\/li>\n<li>Recognize situations requiring a service call Escalation and follows proper Escalation Procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Provide the support required to close service events promptly, within the SLA and to the satisfaction of the customer (\u201cfix the customer\u201d).<\/li>\n<li>Provides timely, accurate and unambiguous updates to the ticketing system.<\/li>\n<li>As needed, communicates frequently with customers and other TERiX personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Validating actual problem and validating correct parts to be used for service.<\/li>\n<li>Effective \u2018debrief\u2019 and reporting of service call for future enhancements.<\/li>\n<li>Travel to and from customer locations, documenting work activity and maintaining administrative paperwork.<\/li>\n<li>Software training including, but not limited to, servers, storage and networking equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Hardware training including, but not limited to servers, storage and networking equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Test various parts used for service.<\/li>\n<li>Train other engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with and enhance the team (synergy) concept.<\/li>\n<li>Follow company guidelines for SLA (Service Level Agreement) for responding to customer calls.<\/li>\n<li>Follow Company Procedure for Parts Supply for Customer Service.<\/li>\n<li>Follow appropriate procedures, either Software or Hardware, to resolve the issue.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate issue and problem resolution notes back to Response Center.<\/li>\n<li>Work within established guidelines and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties assigned by your manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<h4><strong>Qualification:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong Communication Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Customer Facing Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Troubleshooting Skills and technical aptitude.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum directly related experience of 4 years.<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s License, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance policy, with a Good Driving Record.<\/li>\n<li>Technical Bachelor\u2019s Degree or Equivalent Technical Certifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">Please send your resume to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@terix.com\">hr@terix.com<\/a>\u00a0with subject line mentioning \u201c<strong>Application for the Field Engineer \u2013 City Name<\/strong>\u201c.<\/div>\n<div title=\"Page 2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div title=\"Page 2\">\n<hr \/>\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<h4><strong><u>Networking Engineer \u2013 L3<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Country:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>India<\/p>\n<h4><strong>City \/ Location:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Noida<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Job Description:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Engineer will serve as an escalation point on support calls for products supported in our network product catalog.<\/p>\n<p>Provide ongoing Tier 2 support of production environments that include Juniper as well as Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, and Aruba Products.<\/p>\n<p>Engineer will carry out testing of new features, and functionality as required and to help develop plans to implement and verify that they are operating correctly in the live network.<\/p>\n<p>Engineer \u00a0will test patches and fixes to operating software and to ensure that they are implemented and functioning correctly in the pre-production test network (if available) and then live network as implementation plans dictate.<\/p>\n<p>Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, configuration and network problems and to open and track vendor support cases through to problem resolution on production issues.<\/p>\n<p>Support ongoing efforts in defining best practice policies for Riverbed products and submit these practices and policies to our Knowledge Base.<\/p>\n<p>Engineer \u00a0will participate in an on-call rotation and may be called upon to work off-hours to support customer escalations.<\/p>\n<p>Engineer \u00a0will continuously develop additional skills in other products as business needs dictate.<\/p>\n<p>Engineer is capable of working a weekend shift as outlined (Thursday-Saturday or Saturday-Tuesday during the day \/ night).<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<p>Required skill sets:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of Firewall \u2013 (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Load Balancer \u2013 F5(LTM, GTM &amp;
